      The Dorsets are a promising new band from the Phoenix area that is comprised of two guitarist/vocalists, a bass player and a drummer. The Dorsets have come a long way in their first year together. Their following is constantly increasing and the demand for their music is steadily growing. They have nearly thirty original songs, eleven of which are on their debut full length album, We Can Do No Wrong. Their sound has been described as “…A refreshing straight rock and roll with elements of funk, hints of rockabilly, brit pop and folk…” Their album can be purchased online at Itunes.com, cdbaby.com, and digstation.com. It is also being sold at Rockzone Records in Chandler, AZ and at Hoodlums in Tempe, AZ. The Dorsets recently celebrated the release of their debut album “We can do no Wrong” at Alice Cooperstown in Phoenix, AZ on April 6, 2007. The Dorsets are excited to announce that they will be going on their first tour in June of 2007. It will cover the states of New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and California.

The Dorsets have played for charity events such as the Walk for Darfur and the Peace on Earth Day Celebration and are always looking for good causes to promote.

Radio Stations that play the Dorsets music: 99.1 FM The Point (independent radio in Queen Creek, AZ), KJAK (Northern Arizona University’s radio station), and KASC The Blaze (Arizona State University radio station) They were also fortunate to be a guest on the NAU-Live TV show. The Dorsets were featured on The Arizona Midday Show on NBC channel 12 on April 10, 2007.
